Description of Activity
Athletic department honors faculty and administrators at a variety of home athletic events. At the beginning of each semester a letter from the athletic department is sent to Vice President’s informing them of the honoring nights. A week prior to the night a specific department is honored, personal invitations are sent to each faculty member or administrator. In the past the athletic department has honored human resources, professors for various departments, and admissions. It has been very successful for outdoor sports in particular. The athletic department provides PA announcements during the game and is looking at having faculty and administrators in attendance take pictures with the student-athletes in the future to have as a thank you gift.
